Beloved Friends:
A Course In Miracles was not created to have teachers of its content. The content speaks for itself and I am the teacher who will make clear the content to each individual who comes in his heart and asks. It is about a personal transformation, and each one is to practice for himself what I teach there. I teach what is True and only what is True. No one else needs to " teach" ACIM, but rather each individual who but practices the lessons will become a teacher in his/her own life in every moment. He will choose to extend Truth because it is his own personal salvation or peace to do so.
No one changes anyone else's mind about anything. Each one must allow for his/her own transformation of mind and then simply becomes a demonstrator of the Truth, and those sent to him will hear because they are ready, not because they need convincing. And what are they hearing anyway? Simply that God is Love and that they are whole as He Is....that they have never left home, and have already been saved; that they need only to accept the At-one-ment with Love and allow the Holy Spirit to undo all misperception resulting from the illusion of separation.
One who demonstrates his/her own peace and joy is the only one who can be called an advanced teacher of God. One who has accepted the At-one-ment for himself is the only one who can demonstrate such Truth, and those need not be experts with words, whether it be those words from 2,000 years ago or 30 years ago. If one has not been transformed by them he cannot teach of their Truth, because having not accepted It for himself he has nothing to teach. He will only be, once again, spouting forth Truth but it will fall onto empty hearts because his own heart is empty of the Love these words are given to awaken in him.
Oh, "teachers" drop this battle over who owns words. I own the ones that have come forth from me, and I assist each brother in the acceptance of the Truth. I direct each and every assignment and all reception of the words. I call each one to me--to come to the Son within to be shown. No one needs dialogue, analyzing, or what you call discussion of opinion. The words mean what they say--this world is a dream, giving you "false readings" of everything you think you see--designed by you to be so convincing that you would not close your eyes and ears to it and come Home within and ask, "is this true?" For once one does ask he is answered and answered for all time. When he hears the Voice for God say, "no my Son, it is not true, but I Am and You Are As I Am," he has learned the entire book in that moment, and all that is needed is his extension of this Truth that he may keep It for himself.
When there was in time an expression of need to protect ACIM, it did not come from me. I dictated A Course In Miracles as a response to two friends who asked for help. There are only ever two friends asking for help--asking to know each other in Truth again. Two joined again in Love become a force that cannot be "put asunder," and these two turn to two more and they turn to two more as Love answers each call that arises. Be free of concern that anyone must protect the words of one who has gone beyond them and trust to me those who will listen and hear.
Step back Holy Son of God as did I and let the Truth be demonstrated through you that the Love of God is all there is--there is no opposite to challenge It. Make not real a threat to Truth. It does not need protection from an illusion, nor do you. Join with me in the joy of return and let your passion be unto this, and let me play my part with each one.......one at a time. I am with each one directing the healing, and the words given to the teacher of God will be mine--they will never bring fear nor need protecting for only Love remains when My Presence is acknowledged.
Stand in Truth but fight for It not. It needs nothing but Itself extended. Challenge not your brothers who claim the need for ACIM to be protected, but rather remind them gently that only Truth is True and having no opposite It has nothing to be protected from save illusions, and they are not real and have no effects. And remember, the Truth cannot be claimed by one, but AS ONE.
