Hi Robert and Alan,

This is my commentary, as requested, on your "Open Letter to Ken Wapnick."

As you know I fully support your urge to publish your book. Simply that. The
law is the law.

It is evident to me that the reason publication permission has been denied
is not the number of quotes but the fact that Robert is interpreting the
course in his own way. This is expressly "forbidden" by foundation policy.

I do disagree with your statement to Ken about being the most highly
regarded interpreter of the course. From my perspective on the reaction to
Ken's latest pronouncements, it seems he has pretty much lost whatever
status he had, basically because it is clear from his actions that, in all
those years of expounding on the course, he has not learned a thing. Terms
like "Pope Ken" and "Wapnickian Hordes" abound. Outright rebellious
activities (like publishing the course in its entirety on multiple web
sites) are common. Even Endeavour is being looked upon in an increasingly
favourable light, so you can see how far things have gone.

That aside, I wonder if these events might not be an indication that it's
time to abandon all attempts to expound on course metaphysics - which are,
after all, only opinion and have no value whatsoever - and return to
teaching the content. This would have the advantage of requiring NO quotes.
The Truth is the Truth.

The course is not special and will not be special no matter how many try to
make it so. It's a collection of words between blue covers. Other words,
when they convey the Truth, do just as well. All words are poor substitutes
for example.

Love,

Nancy
